Pak Army, Navy busy in rescue operation in Gwadar

Pakistan Army and Navy troops are busy in rescue operations in Gwadar, the country’s port city. Pak Army personnel rescued people and shifted them to safer places in rain-affected areas of Gwadar.
They have also provided commodities, blankets, tents, and medicines to the rain-affected people in the district. Gwadar and various parts of Mekran Division have received rains during the last couple of days. Heavy rainfall has inflicted damages to mud-walled houses and walls in district Kech of Balochistan.
Balochistan government has also declared an emergency in the coastal belt and other rain-affected areas of the province to support the people who are in desperate need of support. The provincial government has also canceled all holidays of government employees in rains and snow-affected people of Balochistan.
Streets and roads inundated in Gwadar
Video footage shows, roads and streets were inundated by rainy water in Gwadar. Heavy rainfall has severely affected the routine life in Mekran Division.
In Northern Balochistan: The famous tourist point Ziarat, Kan Mehtarzai, Kanchoghi, and other areas have received heavy snowfall. The Balochistan government has launched a rescue operation in the snowfall affected areas to make sure provision of timely support to the affected people.
Torrential rains have also caused damages to mud-walled houses in various parts of Chaman, Pakistan’s bordering city with neighboring Afghanistan. The Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Captian (R) Jumadad Khan Mandokhail paid a visit to the affected areas and directed the concerned officials to step up rescue efforts.
