Finally, a 10-year old footballer from Dukki Balochistan joined an academy in Islamabad to improve his talent in the famous game. Ehsanullah Melazai made headlines after his video kicking up football went viral on social media three years back. The video was widely shared by people on the national and international levels on Facebook and Twitter.

In the video, Ehsanullah who was only seven years old kicks up football many times. This prompted the former Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan to call him to the CM Secretariat and presented a shield to him.

“Ehsanullah Melazai has formally joined the football academy in Islamabad”, FootballPakistan.com tweeted on Monday. This online platform covers Pakistani football since 2003.

 

When his video went viral, few clubs showed interest to train him and provide sports facilities. But at that time, he was too young to leave home. “Finally, he has joined the academy”, the online platform announced. FootballPakistan.com has also shared Ehsanullah’s photo on its Twitter account.

There was no immediate response from the family members of Ehsanullah regarding taking admission to the football academy. Football as a sport is the most famous game across Balochistan.
