Senior Minister Balochistan, Mir Zahoor Buledi staged a walkout from the provincial cabinet’s meeting on Tuesday evening. Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo chaired a high-level meeting, which made important decisions regarding the province.
“Several ministers staged a walkout from cabinet meeting over the inclusion of Rs. 30.88b for projects”, Mr. Buledi took to social media network Twitter and revealed this. Mr. Bueldi, Zamarak Khan Achakzai of Awami National Party (ANP), Khaliq Hazara of Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) and Mobeen Khilji of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) had also opposed the allocation of funds for the opposition members.
However, they did not join Mr. Buledi while staging a walkout from the provincial cabinet meeting. The Spokesman of the ruling party i.e. Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran was quick to clarify the situation.
“None supported Mr. Buledi’s stance within the cabinet”, Mr. Khetran said. “When Rs. 30b were being distributed among the non-elected people, why they were silent”, he recalled, referring to former CM Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan’s government.
The Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (F), Balochistan National Party (Mengal) and Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) had supported Mir Quddus Bizenjo against the former CM Jam Kamal Khan.
