Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) has announced to resume matric annual examination 2022 from March 19. “The examination process would resume from Saturday”, a notification issued by the Secretary Board, Shaukat Sarparah said on Thursday night.

The Board had postponed two matric papers on March 17 and 18 after threat alert letters issued by the Balochistan Home Department and law enforcement agencies. “The date for two papers would be announced later”, Mr. Sarparah stated.

Students faced difficulties

Students in Quetta faced difficulties to verify the government’s decision about the closure of private and public schools in the provincial capital. Three main universities including the University of Balochistan, Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), and Sardar Bahadur Khan (SBK) Women University have also announced the closure of universities for two days in Quetta.

A total of 1,32,672 girls and boys students are participating

In Balochistan, 1,32,672 male and female students are participating in the examination process in the matric annual examination 2022. The annual matric examination started on March 16 across Balochistan.

The Balochistan government has taken strict security measures to provide security to teachers and students busy in the examination process. Policemen and Levies personnel have been deployed outside examination centers in the province to maintain the order.
