QUETTA: Joint opposition in the Balochistan Assembly has submitted a requisition for convening the session of the Balochistan Assembly. The house should discuss unfolding political events after the deputy speaker national assembly, Qasim Suri dismissed the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan on April 3rd.

Opposition leaders in BA, Malik Sikandar Advocate who belongs to the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (F) and Malik Naseer Shahwani of the Balochistan National Party (Mengal) have signed the requisition. The Governor should convene the session to discuss what the opposition called important unfolding political events in the country.

JUI F and BNP M are the main component parties of PDM

JUI (F) and BNP M are the two-component parties of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). Although, the two parties had supported Mir Quddus Bizenjo of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) as the Chief Minister of the province. The BAP has also parted its ways with the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) in the center.

Although, the PTI is still on the treasury benches and an ally of BAP in the Balochistan Assembly with its seven lawmakers.
