A blast near a polling station in Jacobabad killed two people, including a policeman, and injured eight others. According to reports, the blast took place near Maula Dad Gate in the Jacobabad area. The blast killed two people and injured eight others.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police station. There are reports of grenade attacks by some sources. According to the initial police report, the blast took place when a government vehicle was passing in the area.

A well-placed police source said a key terrorist involved in the blast was arrested. He said the accused Muhammad Usman Talani was arrested by the police’s special squad. Talani belongs to the Lehri area of Balochistan province, he said.
