Corps Commander Balochistan, Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor visited the Turbat University

Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor said that youth is a valuable asset of the country. He urged the students to play a positive role in national unity and development and step forward for the future leadership of the country. 

The Corps Commander Balochistan, Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor visited the Turbat University Along with the Inspector General (IG) Frontier Corps (FC) South, Major General Kamal Anwar Chaudhry.

On the arrival at Turbat University Vice-Chancellor Professor Jan Muhammad, and the principal of Turbat Medical college Dr. Muhammad Afzal welcomed the commander.

Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor said that the youth of Balochistan, especially the youth of Makran Division, is very talented and hardworking and they have to spend their energy on education. “Youth should take advantage of the opportunities available for their education”, Corps Commander stated.

Balochistan has had and still has many problems. But in the recent past, there has been positive progress on almost every issue. In this regard, both the federal government and the province have done a lot of work.

The students of the medical college demanded registration of the college in the Pakistan Medical College (PMC). The commander promised that he would definitely implement it. He further said that educated youth play an important role in the development of the country.

Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Asif Ghafoor assured the students that all possible support will be provided in the construction and development of the university.
