Police arrest murderer of PTI Balochistan leader Nargis Baloch

Superintendent of Police(SP) Sadar Division Naveed Alam stated that the husband of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Leader from Balochistan Nargis Baloch has been arrested in connection with the murder of his former wife. It is noteworthy that earlier three children of Nargis Baloch were also brutally murdered.

Mr. Naveed Alam stated this on Friday while holding a press conference along with SP Saryab Division Shoaib Masood, ASP Sadar Division Adeel Akbar, SHO Airport Police Station Abdul Hai Baloch, and Investigation Officer Saud Khan.

The accused was wanted in multiple crime cases

According to police sources, the ex-husband involved in the murder of PTI Women’s Wing leader Nargis Baloch was arrested. Two weeks before the murder of his ex-wife, the accused had also shot and injured another woman.

SPs Naveed Alam and Shoaib Masood said that on August 20, 2022, accused Attaullah killed his ex-wife Nargis near Shaheen Bungalows Saryab Road. She was shot and killed when she was going to appear in court along with her brother.

The accused had opened fire and injured another woman

Earlier on August 03, he had opened fire and injured another woman Zahra in the Sariab Road area of Quetta However, she miraculously escaped unharmed, and a case was registered at Sariab Police Station.

The police were making desperate efforts to arrest the accused and the airport police station took action and detained Attaullah from Kali Ismail.

SPs Naveed Alam and Shoaib Masood said that the police are the guarantor of public safety and all resources are being used to suppress the criminal elements.

In response to a question, they said that the police have decided to make Quetta city free from drugs and the crackdown is ongoing against the elements involved in the sale and purchase of drugs.
