Polling for the first phase of local government elections will be held tomorrow in Lasbela, Hub, and Pishin. According to the details, first phase of local government elections will be held on Sunday September 11 in the two districts of Balochistan: Lasbela, Hub and including the municipal community of Pishin i.e. Huramzai.
Election materials have been provided to the Presiding officers. A total of 259 polling stations and 690 polling booths have been setup in Hub and Lasbela districts. The number of male voters is 153236 and female voters are 119087.
13 polling stations and 30 polling booths have been set-up for the Huramzai municipal committee elections of Pishin district. The number of male voters is 6151 and female voters are 4739. A total of 79 candidates are participating in the Huramzai Municipal Committee elections.
