QUETTA: Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan claimed the rate for induction in the Balochistan Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) as driver and peons was Rs.1.5 million. The former CM took to the social media network Twitter and said the post for the stenographer was being sold at Rs.4 million.

The S&GAD has given advertisements in local newspapers demanding applications to fill around 1000 posts recently. Thousands of unemployed youth submitted their applications to the S&GAD, which is considered to be the backbone of the provincial government.

The parliamentary secretary of S&GAD, Bushra Rind rejected the claim of the former Chief Minister and said if the former CM has any proof he should produce it. “Recruitment to be completed on the basis of merit”, Bushra Rind said, rejecting the allegations leveled by the former CM of Balochistan.

Jam Kamal stated that those who are running S&GAD should know this. “The new appointees would be investors rather than workers”, he concluded.
