NASEERABAD: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Balochistan Chapter, Malik Imran Khan Kakar termed corruption one of the key reasons behind the backwardness of the province. The MQM P distributed commodities and other essential items among the flood-affected people in Balochistan’s Naseerabad division the other day.

Relief items were distributed among the affectees on the directives of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Coordinator Rabta Committee. Imdad Hussain Marri and Sardar Ahmed Jan Marri were also present on the occasion. “MQM P stands by the people of Balochistan in this hour of trial”, Malik Imran Kakar stated.

He said those who plundered the resources of Balochistan were actually responsible for the backwardness of the province. “Our party is committed to supporting the people of Balochistan”, Mr. Kakar stated. He urged the MQM P workers to step up their efforts to support the flood affectees who were in desperate need of support.

In Balochistan’s Naseerabad belt, still, thousands of flood affectees are in desperate need of support and the provincial government failed to provide the necessary items to the affectees.
