The Balochistan government has decided to construct 7 tourist resorts at places along the 770 km long coastline in the province and restore the management of existing resorts.
The meeting of the governing body of the Balochistan Coastal Development Authority (BCDA) made this decision. Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo chaired the meeting through a video link.
The meeting was attended by members of the governing body and other officials. In the meeting, it was decided to build, manage and operate resorts at seven coastal locations in partnership between the public and private sectors.
The progress on the provision of petrol pumps and other necessary facilities at 11 places by the Ministry of Petroleum for the convenience of the people on the coastal belt was also reviewed in the meeting.
BCDA instructs to issue tender for projects providing basic facilities to passengers in 9 places
The BCDA has also been instructed to issue tenders for development projects related to providing basic facilities to passengers in 9 places on the coastal belt as soon as possible. The meeting was also briefed on agenda points by Secretary Fisheries and DG BCDA.
The meeting has also decided on the permanence of 28 employees recruited on contract basis from 2012 to 2017. A decision has also been taken in the meeting to take action against the officers and personnel who made wrongful recruitments.

The BCDA employees have been instructed to send a summary regarding giving utility allowance. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said that “BCDA is an active institution in coastal development”. Balochistan has a 770 km long coastline which will be further improved, he added.
Mr. Bizenjo stated that our job is to take decisions and we want to take every decision for the prosperity and development of the province.
