Two young men drowned while bathing in the Hub River on Sunday. Both young men breathed their last in the river. Rescue workers reached the spot and recovered the dead bodies.
The dead bodies were shifted to the hospital. A large number of friends and relatives reached the hospital. Heartbreaking scenes were witnessed when the dead bodies of the young men were brought to the hospital.
Hub River Claims 10 Lives in One and a half months
It should be noted that in the last one and a half months, the Hub River has claimed more than 10 lives of men, women, and children, yet the Hub administration could not impose a ban on bathing in the river, locals of the area have complained.
The dead bodies were shifted to hospital
On receiving the information about the incident of drowning in deep water, Edhi volunteers pulled out the bodies of the two drowned youths from the water and brought them to Jam Ghulam Qadir Government Hospital Hub, where they were identified as 17-year-old Anas son of Musharraf and 16-year-old Muzamal.
After the operation, the bodies were handed over to the heirs. The deceased was a resident of Osmanabad, Lyari, Karachi.
