QUETTA: Famous Balochi singers Wahab Bugti and Meer Jamali called on caretaker Prime Minister, Anwaar ul Haq Kakar at the Chief Minister Balochistan Secretariat.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of both singers in highlighting public issues in their famous songs.

Balochistan’s finance minister Amjad Rasheed played a key role in arranging meeting of both singers with Prime Minister.

The Minister who also heads the Taraqee Foundation issued the following statement:

 

I am grateful to our two legendary singers and Social Activists Wahab Bughti, who worked with us in relief work during the flood of 2022 and Meer Jamali , who drew attention of Prime minister Anwaar ul haque towards the reconstruction of “Pinjra Pul”. Today the Care taker Prime minister also met with Jamali and wahab Bughti and assured that the problem will be solved till 1st September 2023. Our guests met PM at Chief Minister House Quetta as they were invited as guests at dinner hosted by care taker Chief minister Balochistan.
