QUETTA: At least two policemen were injured in a hand grenade attack in the Hazar Ganji area of the city on Saturday. Police sources said unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at the patrolling police vehicle in the Hazar Ganji area of the provincial capital.

The attack left two policemen injured. The injured were rushed to the Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) hospital for medical treatment. An emergency was declared in the hospital to provide medical treatment to the injured of the attack.

The attackers managed to escape unhurt from the spot. A huge contingent of police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Police investigators also collected evidence from the spot of the blast.
