Tariq Baloch:
TURBAT: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman, Asif Ali Zardari, voiced concern on Monday over what he called Islamabad’s lack of understanding about Balochistan. After decades, the PPP decision-maker, Asif Zardari, addressed a workers’ convention in Turbat to revive the party in the Makran belt.
Former caretaker interior minister, Sarfaraz Bugti, joined the PPP on the occasion. Former finance minister Balochistan, Zahoor Buledi, and other PPP leaders also addressed the workers’ convention. “This is a matter of honor for me to join the PPP,” Sarfaraz Bugti said. He said only the PPP understands the political and tribal dynamics of Balochistan.
PPP To Launch Massive Development If Comes Into Power
“It is ironic; Islamabad does not understand Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab,” Asif Ali Zardari told the flag-waving supporters of the party in Turbat. He said Balochistan’s development and prosperity were crucial for the development of Pakistan.
“The PPP will launch a massive development process if it comes into power,” the PPP decision-maker assured the party workers. He said still a lot needs to be done to develop Balochistan.
Asif Zardari said some youths were deceived by anti-Pakistan elements. “We will bring them back,” he said. They will play their role in the development and prosperity of the country, he said.
China Sood By Pakistan In All Difficult Times
PPP Co-Chairman stated that as a president he made over a dozen visits to China, all friends. He said the country has stood by Pakistan in all difficult times. “Who developed this Gwadar,” he said, adding it was China that developed the port city of the country.
Asif Zardari said his party understood the political dynamics, sensitivities, and demands, and that was the reason the party gave Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s name to Pashtoons. “Pakhtoons fought against the British, and we know it was their right to get their name,” the PPP leader mentioned.
Scores of political leaders from other political parties also announced joining the PPP on the occasion.
