QUETTA: In a recent address at a ceremony in Quetta, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar highlighted the challenges faced by various communities in Balochistan, emphasizing the need for unity against external threats. Kakar expressed concern over the targeting of every class in Balochistan by saboteurs and stressed the historical bond between the region, particularly Quetta, and the Hazara community.
“Our closeness with the Hazara community is old; Balochistan and Quetta have an identity of the Hazara community. We all have to fight the extremists together,” stated Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar during the ceremony.
PM Calls For Collective Action Against Common Enemies
He acknowledged the rich cultural heritage and the real treasure of Balochistan as its culture and people. Naming the martyrs of the Hazara community, the Caretaker Prime Minister called for collective action against common enemies, emphasizing the importance of solidarity.
“Our enemies are one; there should be no division between us. We will be together, we will fight against them, and we will also fight in the streets,” declared Kakar.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar highlighted the significance of peace for the progress of civilization, science, and literature. He noted that while the focus has been on youth skill development, there is a need to enhance the standards of training.

“The economy, technologies, and artificial intelligence are far away; our focus has been on skill youth development. Still, the necessary standards of training may not be given,” Kakar stated.
He urged for a shift towards quality training, emphasizing that Pakistan’s workforce is in demand globally. Kakar warned that without attention to quality training, there is a risk of losing opportunities to other countries.
“We have to prepare for quality training. There is still a demand for Pakistan’s workforce in other countries. If we do not pay attention to quality training, then outsiders will go to other countries instead of Pakistan,” he cautioned.
This program is a step toward a soft revolution
Assuring support from the federal government, Kakar stated, “The federal government will provide all possible support according to its capacity. Even after February 8, we will continue to provide services in some capacity. This program is a step towards a soft revolution – a youth skill development program.”
