Over 31,000 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus since the outbreak of the pandemic in Pakistan. Cases appear to be on a constant rise in the country after easing of the lockdown by the federal and provincial governments.

On Thursday, Pakistan confirmed 89,249 cases of the deadly virus. However, patients with mild symptoms have also been recovering from the novel coronavirus. Most of the people have recovered from the virus at their homes in isolation.

The virus has caused 1838 deaths in the country.

Most of the cases have been reported from Sindh and Punjab provinces. As per the statistics shared by the provincial health departments and federal government, Sindh has confirmed 33,536, Punjab 33,144, KP 11,890, Balochistan 5,224 cases.

PML-N member of the provincial assembly (MPA) Mian Naveed Ali from Pakpattan, Punjab has tested positive for the coronavirus, his spokesperson has said.

The 32-year-old MPA was involved in welfare activities during the pandemic and has isolated himself in Lahore after his test came back positive, the spokesperson added.
