A protest demonstration was held outside Quetta Press Club to press the authorities to arrest the culprit involved in the cold-blooded murder of a woman in Balochistan’s Killa Abdullah district the other day. The protesters had carried placards inscribed with slogans, “arrest the killers of the woman”, “we want justice”, “Govt should break the silence”, etc during the protest demonstration.

Dozens of youth gathered outside the Press Club and demanded the arrest of the culprit involved in the murder of a woman. A woman was tortured to death in Balochistan’s Killa Abdullah district the other day allegedly by her husband. The incident happened in Killa Abdullah’s Deobandi tehsil.

“Justice must be done”, Attaullah, a young man from Barshore tehsil of district Pishin told the daily Quetta Voice. 

The protesters demanded that provincial government should take notice of the cold-blooded murder and direct the law enforcers to arrest the culprit involved in the incident.

Sardar Khondai Adds from Chaman: Levies force has also taken the father of the accused, identified as Ameer Muhammad in custody and brought him to Chaman for interrogation from Deobandi. Assistant Commissioner, Zakaullah Durrani told journalists that raids were being conducted in various parts of the tehsil to apprehend the accused involved in the murder of the woman.

“Very soon, the murderer would be apprehended”, Mr. Durrani said. Levies force also recovered the sister of the victim from the spot and handed over to her family members. “The minor girl who had witnessed the killing of her sister is suffering from dumb agony”, Muhammad Naeem Taseer, a political and social worker from Barshore told the daily Quetta Voice. 

The hapless woman was the mother of three daughters and married to a man from district Killa Abdullah’s Deobandi tehsil. However, the woman belonged to Barshore Tehsil of district Pishin.
