Syed Ali Shah, Manan Mandokhail:

Quetta – The Balochistan Assembly on Wednesday unanimously adopted a condemnation resolution against India’s recent false flag operation and growing aggression towards Pakistan. The resolution, jointly backed by treasury and opposition benches, was tabled by MPA Zareen Khan Magsi.

Presenting the resolution, Magsi said India had baselessly accused Pakistan in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and staged a false flag operation to justify its hostility. He urged the House to call on the federal government and the international community to take urgent notice of Indian aggression and propaganda aimed at defaming Pakistan.

Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle spoke at length, condemning New Delhi’s dangerous tactics. They warned that India’s actions are a threat to regional peace and said Pakistan must remain vigilant and united.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, concluding the debate, said Pakistan has always strived for peace with India, but that should not be mistaken as weakness. “The people of Pakistan, along with our armed forces, stand ready to defend our territorial and ideological borders. India cannot intimidate us through threats or false flag operations,” he asserted.

Bugti emphasized that Pakistan has already delivered effective responses to Indian aggression in the past and will continue to do so if provoked again.

Prominent lawmakers, including Mir Shoaib Nowsherwani, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, and Khair Jan Baloch, also took the floor and strongly criticized the Indian government for its hostile policies and propaganda. They reaffirmed their support for Pakistan’s armed forces and called for national unity in the face of external threats.

The resolution sends a clear message of unity and resilience from Balochistan amid the ongoing tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations.
