QUETTA: Under the leadership of Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, the Jamiat -e-Islami (JI) launched a long march from Quetta to Islamabad. The march faced multiple roadblocks and container barricades placed at different locations including near Ghala Mandi, Tor Nasser, and Chaman Phatak in Balochistan, aiming to stop the caravan.

Despite these hurdles, Maulana’s convoy successfully crossed all obstructions and is en route to Islamabad. Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman stated, “Our peaceful long march will not be stopped by any government tactics. We are peaceful people, we will not respond to provocation and we will reach Islamabad peacefully.”

He emphasized that the purpose of the march is peaceful resistance and any attempts to hinder it will not be tolerated.
