Islamabad:
An All Parties Conference (APC) organized by the Awami National Party (ANP) has commenced in Islamabad, with the agenda focused on the deteriorating law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The session is being presided over by ANP President Senator Aimal Wali Khan.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) delegation is led by Secretary General Engineer Muhammad Humayun Khan along with Nayyar Bukhari. The Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) is represented by its chairman, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, while Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) is participating under the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) delegation is headed by Professor Ibrahim.
Notable figures such as National Democratic Movement (NDM) Chairman Mohsin Dawar and Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party Chairman Khushhal Khan Kakar are also attending the APC. In addition, delegations from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), and Balochistan National Party (BNP) are present.
Representatives from the Labour Kisan Party, and Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) are also taking part in the multi-party dialogue.
The APC aims to build consensus among political forces on ensuring peace and stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, provinces that have faced rising challenges in security and governance.
