Quetta: Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Adil Khan Bazai from Quetta has resigned from three standing committees of the National Assembly. The development came on Friday following directives from former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Imran Khan.

Speaking to reporters, Bazai confirmed that his decision was made in line with party instructions. He said that as a loyal member of PTI, he could not ignore the guidance of the former prime minister, who continues to influence the party’s parliamentary affairs from behind bars.

Bazai emphasized that his resignation should not be seen as a personal choice but as a political obligation, underscoring his commitment to the party’s collective strategy. The move reflects growing pressure within PTI ranks as lawmakers adjust to evolving political dynamics in the country.

Bazai was elected MNA from NA-262 Quetta and has been an active political figure in Balochistan.
