: An improvised explosive device (IED) blast targeted a security forces’ vehicle near Goth Mahesar in Kachhi District, Balochistan, injuring two personnel and damaging the vehicle severely. According to police reports, the explosion occurred during a routine patrol. Following the incident, police and security teams rushed to the site, cordoned off the area, and launched a search operation to track down the perpetrators.

The injured personnel have been shifted to a nearby medical facility where they are receiving treatment. This attack once again raises concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation in Kachhi District, which has witnessed several similar terrorist incidents in the past. The security forces’ vehicle was reportedly completely destroyed in the explosion, while investigation teams have started collecting evidence from the scene.

In light of recent attacks, the movement of security forces in the region has become increasingly risky. Local authorities have announced enhanced security measures and vowed to apprehend those involved in the bombing. Following the blast, both the provincial government and security agencies have heightened alert levels and tightened monitoring at all entry and exit points of the district.
