GwadarIn line with the announcement made by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti regarding the allocation of a girls’ hostel for the University of Gwadar, MPA Gwadar Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch formally inaugurated the newly constructed hostel by the Government of Balochistan. The initiative is being regarded as a significant milestone toward providing safe and quality accommodation for female students.

The availability of the girls’ hostel is particularly beneficial for students arriving from remote areas outside Gwadar who pursue their education at the University of Gwadar. The facility will not only resolve accommodation issues for out-of-town students but also help create a positive and supportive academic environment for local students.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Registrar Daulat Khan, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Controller of Examinations Dr. Raheem Mehr, Principal Gwadar College Naseer Ahmed, university officers, and other distinguished guests.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir expressed gratitude to the Government of Balochistan—particularly Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti—stating that facilities such as the girls’ hostel strengthen the university’s development and support female students in their academic journey. He termed the initiative a major step forward in promoting education.

Addressing the ceremony, MPA Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch appreciated the provincial government’s efforts, stating that such facilities are essential for the advancement of women’s education. He expressed hope that the newly inaugurated hostel would bring convenience, encouragement, and positive opportunities for female students.
