MuslimBagh: The Assistant Commissioner of Muslim Bagh conducted a comprehensive visit to Dahrj Kallara Bazaar to inspect the prices, quality, and availability of various food and essential commodities. The purpose of the inspection was to ensure strict implementation of the official price list, curb profiteering, and guarantee the provision of quality items to the public at fair rates.

During the visit, the Assistant Commissioner inspected several grocery stores, vegetable and fruit vendors, general stores, and other relevant shops individually. He inquired from shopkeepers about the price lists and, upon finding irregularities at certain shops, issued immediate instructions on the spot. Shopkeepers were strictly warned that substandard items and overpricing would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The Assistant Commissioner directed all vendors to display the official price list prominently and pay special attention to maintaining product quality. He emphasized that public convenience is the top priority and assured that the administration will continue regular monitoring of the markets.

Accompanied by other administrative officials, the inspection team also reviewed cleanliness conditions, weighing scales, product quality, and standard shop procedures. Several shopkeepers were issued improvement notices, while some received warnings according to the law.

The Assistant Commissioner stated that strict and organized monitoring of markets will continue in the future to provide relief to the public and to ensure that no one is allowed to violate established regulations.
