Quetta: Senior lawyer Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar has been elected as a member of the Pakistan Bar Council, drawing widespread congratulations from the legal fraternity across Balochistan. Lawyers’ bodies, bar associations and senior advocates have hailed his victory as a significant achievement for the province’s legal community.

Members of the legal fraternity said that Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar’s success reflects his long-standing professional services, principled stance and consistent struggle for the rights of lawyers. He has remained actively engaged in promoting the rule of law, constitutional supremacy and collective interests of the legal community.

It may be mentioned here that Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar is regarded as one of the senior and experienced lawyers from Balochistan, with decades of association with the legal profession. He has played a leading role in guiding young lawyers and in organising professional lawyers on key legal and constitutional issues.

Legal experts expressed hope that his representation in the Pakistan Bar Council would effectively highlight the issues faced by lawyers from Balochistan and contribute positively to judicial reforms, protection of lawyers’ rights and strengthening democratic and legal institutions in the country.
