Panjgur: At least two people, including a police official, were killed and two other policemen injured during an exchange of fire between armed assailants and police at Chitkan Bazaar on Saturday. The incident occurred in the busy Bismillah Chowk area of Panjgur.

According to police, the clash erupted during an armed attack on Habib Bank and Meezan Bank. Heavy weapons were used during the firing, causing partial damage to a police vehicle at the scene. Authorities said it was not immediately clear how much cash the attackers managed to take.

Following the incident, police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the assailants.
