KARACHI: Dr Irfan Ullah Khan Tareen, a renowned, dynamic and well-known dermatologist from Balochistan, has been elected as President of the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists (PAD) for a one-year term.

The annual conference of the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists was initially scheduled to be held in Quetta in October but was postponed due to security concerns. The event was later successfully organised in Karachi from December 12 to 14.

The three-day conference featured extensive scientific sessions during which dermatologists from across the country presented and discussed various research papers, clinical experiences and recent advancements in the field of dermatology.

At the conclusion of the conference, elections were held for the association’s office-bearers. Dr Irfan Ullah Khan Tareen was elected as President, a development seen as a major recognition of his professional services and a proud moment for the medical community of Balochistan.

Colleagues and participants expressed confidence that his leadership will strengthen the association and promote research, training and professional collaboration among dermatologists nationwide.
