News Desk: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reiterated his firm stance against the sale of government jobs, corruption, and nepotism, stating that these practices will not be tolerated under any circumstances in the province.
In a post on social media platform X, the chief minister said restoring public trust and ensuring transparent governance remain top priorities of his government. He noted that concrete and effective measures are being taken to strengthen accountability and improve the system of governance in Balochistan.
As part of these reforms, Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced that for the first time in the province’s history, 111 government posts in the Finance Department will be filled through a fully online, paperless, and 100 percent merit-based recruitment process. Under the new system, candidates will undergo online testing, with their qualifications and eligibility assessed in a transparent manner. Successful applicants will receive their appointment letters within one hour, ensuring swift and merit-based hiring.
The chief minister said the initiative will begin with the Finance Department and will be gradually expanded to all other departments of the Balochistan government. He added that the provincial administration is committed to promoting good governance, transparency, and accountability through the use of modern technology.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti stressed that merit, transparency, and honoring commitments made to the people form the foundation of his government’s policies, and such reforms will continue to empower youth and ensure that deserving individuals are given their rightful opportunities.
