Pakistan has formally received an invitation from the President of the United States to become part of an international peace board focused on Gaza, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson.

Islamabad has reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the global community to help restore stability in Gaza and to support a just and lasting resolution of the Palestine issue in line with United Nations resolutions.

Pakistan’s stance on Palestine remains unchanged and clear: the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Officials stressed that any decision regarding participation in the peace initiative will be taken collectively through Pakistan’s political leadership and Parliament, ensuring alignment with national interests and the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people.

If Pakistan becomes part of the initiative, it is expected to contribute positively by supporting peace-building efforts and facilitating humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza.
