Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has enforced Section 144 across the province to maintain law and order, banning illegal strikes, protests, public gatherings, and road blockades. This was stated by Adviser to the Chief Minister Balochistan, Shahid Rind.

He said that in line with Balochistan High Court directives, no highways or roads can be blocked under any circumstances. Law-enforcement agencies have been instructed to take strict action against those disrupting traffic in the name of protest.

According to Rind, anyone violating Section 144 will be arrested, emphasizing that the law applies equally to all. Police have received clear orders to ensure public order and security through impartial enforcement.
