News Desk: Unidentified armed men allegedly took away the official vehicle of the Deputy Commissioner from Kharan city on Thursday morning, according to police sources.

Police said the government vehicle belonging to the Deputy Commissioner Kharan was intercepted and seized by armed individuals. Deputy Commissioner Munir Soomro remained safe and was not inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Following the incident, police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Investigations are underway to trace the vehicle and identify those responsible, while security has been tightened in and around Kharan city.

Officials said further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
