Quetta : Under the special directives of Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Government of Balochistan has officially released details of a newly introduced Electronic Filing Dashboard (E-Filing System) aimed at improving governance, transparency, and administrative efficiency.

According to Hamza Shafqaat, Additional Secretary of the Home Department Balochistan, the digital file tracking system allows real-time monitoring of every file’s movement within the department. The system enables authorities to see which officer is handling a file, how long it has been pending, and how many files are currently under process.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, he highlighted that the real-time dashboard ensures complete digital record-keeping, making it impossible to conceal delays. Any bottlenecks in the workflow are automatically identified, significantly enhancing transparency, accountability, and e-governance practices.

Officials stated that the implementation of the Electronic File Management System (EFMS) has already reduced unnecessary delays within the department and accelerated decision-making processes for citizens. Internal reviews conducted over the past two months indicate a remarkable 150% improvement in departmental performance, reflecting the success of the digital transformation initiative.

The introduction of the e-governance dashboard in Balochistan marks a major step toward administrative reform, digital governance, public service efficiency, performance monitoring, and institutional transparency in Pakistan’s provincial government system.
