Gwadar: Following the recent military tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States, the repatriation process of Pakistani citizens stranded in Iran has officially begun. According to district authorities, 51 individuals, including five students, have safely crossed the Gabd–Rimdan border and returned to Pakistan.

Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Naqeebullah Kakar, confirmed that those returning include businesspersons, tourists, and students who were facing difficulties due to the uncertain security situation in Iran.

Immigration and Relief Measures

At the border crossing, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is providing 24-hour immigration services to ensure a smooth and expedited repatriation process. Officials stated that security clearance and documentation procedures are being handled on a priority basis.

Additionally, under the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the district administration is facilitating returning citizens with temporary accommodation, food, and onward travel arrangements.
