Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti held a meeting with Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja. Federal IT Secretary and Chairman Pakistan Digital Authority Dr. Sohail also attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Bugti said that Balochistan is fully prepared for the formulation and implementation of the National Digital Policy. He highlighted that the provincial government has already initiated reforms by digitizing the Finance Department.

Bugti emphasized that through Artificial Intelligence, merit-based appointments of youth are being ensured, eliminating corruption previously associated with recruitment commissions. He added that complete digitalization of the Finance Department will block all avenues of corruption.

The Chief Minister invited the authority working on the digital policy to visit Quetta and stressed that joint efforts are essential for the constructive and positive use of social media.
