The body of a Pakistani citizen who was killed in a reported US strike in Iran has been handed over to authorities at the Taftan border, officials said.

The deceased, identified as Yasir Khan, son of Iqbal Shah and a resident of Chagai district, died in Iran’s port city of Bandar Abbas. According to police sources, he lost his life during a reported US attack in the area.

Following the completion of legal formalities, the body was transferred to Pakistani authorities at the Taftan crossing and later handed over to the family.
