News Desk: Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has extended heartfelt greetings to the Christian community on the occasion of Easter, reaffirming the government’s commitment to protecting minority rights and promoting interfaith harmony in the province.

In his message, the chief minister described Easter as a symbol of peace, love, and humanity, emphasizing that it promotes values of tolerance, mutual respect, and brotherhood—essential for a peaceful and progressive society. He said the occasion brings a message of hope, renewal, and goodwill for all.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the Balochistan government is actively working to strengthen social cohesion and interfaith harmony through practical measures. He stated that ensuring the protection and welfare of minorities remains a top priority, with equal opportunities and complete religious freedom guaranteed to all citizens.

He noted that the province has established its first Minority Endowment Fund and introduced special quotas for minorities under the Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Program, covering education from matriculation to PhD level.

Appreciating the contributions of the Christian community, the chief minister said they continue to play a valuable role in the development of the province and the country. He reiterated the government’s resolve to ensure a peaceful, inclusive, and developed Balochistan for all.
