ISPR: The military’s media wing stated that at the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference held at General Headquarters, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff Syed Asim Munir chaired a high-level meeting to review Pakistan’s security landscape.

The forum began with Fateha for martyrs of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians, reaffirming that their sacrifices remain central to national security. The military leadership praised the professionalism and operational performance of the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly in intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations.

Participants conducted a comprehensive assessment of internal and external threats, reiterating that terrorist groups backed by India and other external actors would be eliminated without exception. The forum emphasized continuing operations, including Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, until militant safe havens are dismantled and the use of Afghanistan soil against Pakistan is fully addressed.

The meeting also highlighted regional developments, supporting diplomatic efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East and reaffirming Pakistan’s role as a stabilising force. Strong concern was expressed over recent attacks targeting critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, warning that such actions could undermine peace efforts.

The forum rejected what it described as disinformation and allegations from India, while raising concerns over alleged human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including claims of extrajudicial actions.

In his concluding remarks, Field Marshal Asim Munir directed commanders to maintain peak operational readiness and adaptability, expressing confidence in the armed forces’ ability to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
