Tehran – April 15, 2026: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, along with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and a high-level Pakistani delegation, arrived in Tehran on Wednesday as part of Pakistan’s ongoing mediation efforts in the region.
This was stated by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
It may be mentioned here that Pakistan has been actively engaged with both the Iranian government and the United States to help achieve a permanent peace in the Middle East.
The visit aims to convey important messages and pave the way for a second round of talks between the concerned parties.
