Web Desk: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level meeting with a joint delegation of the Pakistan Bar Council and Balochistan Bar Council, focusing on lawyer welfare, legal sector reforms, and improving access to justice in Balochistan.

The meeting resulted in key decisions aimed at strengthening lawyer facilities and welfare. The provincial government approved enhanced medical coverage for lawyers to improve healthcare access, while also agreeing to provide subsidized chambers at Municipal Plaza. Additional transport initiatives, including pink scooters, shuttle carts, buses, and pink vans, will be introduced to facilitate the legal community.

Officials also shared progress on major initiatives such as the digital library project and the Lawyers Welfare Housing Scheme, both designed to modernize legal infrastructure and support the legal fraternity in Balochistan.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that lawyer welfare remains a top government priority, noting that better facilities for lawyers would directly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the justice system. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to resolving lawyers’ issues through practical measures and ensuring timely completion of all welfare projects in collaboration with the legal community.

The meeting was attended by key legal representatives, including Munir Ahmed Kakar, Nadir Chalgari, Ayaz Mandokhail, Najeeb Kakar, and Afzal Harifal, along with senior government officials.
