Over 260,000 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Pakistan since the outbreak of the pandemic. So far, over 284,000 people have been tested positive for the deadly virus in the country. The virus has caused 6107 deaths across the country.
As per the statistics shared by provincial health ministries and federal health ministry, most of the patients have recovered at their homes in isolation. The death ratio in terms of the COVID19 appears to be low in Pakistan as compared to other parts of the globe.
Sindh province stands first in terms of increasing cases of the novel coronavirus. However, Punjab is second in the number of cases of the virus that affected almost all parts of the globe. Although, Pakistan has eased lockdown and allowed restaurants, salons, parks, tourist points to function after a decline in the number of cases.
Sindh has confirmed 124,127 Punjab has reported 94,477, Balochistan 11,906, KP 34,692, Islamabad 15,182, AJK 2,124, GB 2,287 cases until now. In view of decreasing cases of the virus, Pakistan has allowed resumption of international flights from August 9 to the globe.
A NOTAM (notice to airmen) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that operations will resume from August 9 to midnight. “The government of Pakistan is pleased to allow all international passenger operations to/from all airports as available pre-COVID-19.
