He praised journalists in Balochistan for continuing their professional duties despite security challenges and difficult working conditions.

CM Bugti Pays Tribute to Fallen Journalists

Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid tribute to journalists who lost their lives while reporting truth and facts, calling them a matter of pride for the country. He said the sacrifices made by media workers for press freedom and public awareness would never be forgotten.

He said balanced coverage could help improve the province’s image at both national and international levels.

First Social Media Policy Introduced in Balochistan

Referring to Balochistan’s first social media policy, the chief minister said the initiative was launched to discourage fake news, counter negative propaganda, and encourage authentic and responsible digital journalism.

He emphasized that in the modern digital era, verification of information and fact-checking have become critical responsibilities for journalists and media platforms.
