QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly on Friday unanimously adopted a congratulatory resolution marking the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq, paying tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces for what lawmakers described as a strong and decisive response to Indian aggression and terrorism.

The resolution was tabled by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and received unanimous support from members across the treasury and opposition benches. Legislators praised the armed forces for their sacrifices, courage, and commitment in defending the country and safeguarding national sovereignty.

Speaking on the floor of the house, Chief Minister Bugti said Pakistan’s armed forces had delivered a “befitting and unforgettable response” to Indian aggression, sending a clear message that no hostile designs against Pakistan would be tolerated.

“The armed forces of Pakistan have proven their professional capabilities and unwavering commitment to the motherland,” he said, adding that the nation takes pride in the sacrifices rendered by security personnel for peace and stability.

Several lawmakers participated in the discussion on the resolution, including Planning and Development Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi, Parliamentary Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, opposition members, Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, and other assembly members.

The speakers appreciated the role of the armed forces in defending the country against external threats and combating terrorism. They also congratulated the nation on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq, describing it as a symbol of national unity, resilience, and patriotism.

Members of the assembly reaffirmed their support for Pakistan’s security institutions and stressed the need for national solidarity in the face of regional challenges and security threats.
