NOKUNDI: Former Adviser to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Ejaz Khan Sanjrani visited multiple locations included in the Nok Kundi Master Plan and reviewed the ongoing GPS survey and demarcation work for the construction of a modern sports complex and the widening of key roads in the town.
During the visit, engineers and planning consultants briefed him on the progress of the survey, upcoming development projects, and the long-term urban planning strategy aimed at transforming Nok Kundi into a modern, well-planned city in Balochistan. Tribal elders, political and social personalities, and members of the Khan Panel also accompanied him.
Speaking to the media, Mir Ejaz Khan Sanjrani said the successful implementation of the Nok Kundi development project would place the town among the leading modern urban centers of Balochistan. He stated that the master plan includes the construction of a commercial market, wide roads, a state-of-the-art sports complex, family parks, a modern bus terminal, and an upgraded traffic management system to improve civic amenities and public infrastructure.
He further explained that the Nok Kundi urban development master plan has been designed to address long-standing civic and infrastructure challenges while ensuring sustainable urban development, organized city planning, and a cleaner environment for future generations.
Highlighting the significance of sports infrastructure, Mir Ejaz Khan Sanjrani said the proposed sports complex in Nok Kundi would promote healthy activities among youth and help nurture local sporting talent. He added that the road expansion project would reduce traffic congestion, improve transportation networks, and support commercial and economic growth in the region.
Local tribal and social elders welcomed the initiative and expressed optimism that the timely completion of the Nok Kundi Master Plan would enhance the town’s beauty, infrastructure, investment opportunities, and overall economic development.
