​DUKI: In a major development, rescue teams have successfully pulled out one miner alive after he was trapped for 14 hours inside a coal mine in the Duki area of Balochistan.
​According to the District Inspector of Mines, Yar Jan Baloch, the rescued miner was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
​Speaking to the media regarding the ongoing emergency operations, Yar Jan Baloch stated that the rescue efforts have been heavily accelerated.

“Another specialized team has been dispatched into the mine to reach the remaining five trapped miners,” Baloch said.
​The administration remains hopeful for a positive outcome. Officials expressed strong hope that the remaining laborers will be safely evacuated soon as rescue teams navigate the challenging underground conditions.
