MASTUNG: Two cricketers were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire during a cricket match in Killi Dand area of Mastung district, police said.

According to police officials, the deceased were identified as Ayush Michael and Sagar. The attackers fled the scene after the incident, while authorities have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack.

Following the killings, relatives and local residents staged a protest outside Ghaus Bakhsh Hospital, blocking the Quetta-Karachi Highway and demanding justice for the victims.

Police officials said efforts were underway to trace the suspects and bring those responsible to justice. The incident has caused grief and concern among residents, who have called for enhanced security measures.
