Web Desk: Twelve terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based targeted operation in Dalbandin, Balochistan, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said on Monday.
In a statement posted on X, Bugti said intelligence-led targeted operations against terrorists were continuing successfully across Balochistan.
He said the latest operation in Dalbandin resulted in the killing of 12 terrorists, describing the action as part of ongoing efforts to counter terrorism in the province.
Sarfraz Bugti said the government would not hold negotiations with those who take up arms against the state and target innocent civilians.
“Those who raise arms against the state and shed the blood of innocent citizens will not be negotiated with,” the chief minister said.
At the same time, Bugti said the state’s doors remain open for individuals who abandon their weapons, reject violence and choose to live peacefully under the Constitution of Pakistan.
The chief minister’s statement comes amid continued security operations against militant groups in Balochistan, with intelligence-based actions being carried out against suspected terrorists
