News Desk: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and NACTA National Coordinator Major General Faisal Naseer on Sunday reviewed the province’s security situation and discussed a coordinated strategy to counter terrorism and ensure lasting peace in Balochistan.

Major General Faisal Naseer called on Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta, where the two sides held detailed discussions on law and order, counterterrorism operations, intelligence coordination and measures to strengthen security across the province.

The meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation between the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and the Balochistan government. The participants discussed improving coordination among law enforcement agencies and strengthening their capacity to effectively respond to terrorism and other security challenges.

The importance of better intelligence sharing and institutional coordination was also highlighted as part of efforts to develop an effective and integrated counterterrorism strategy for Balochistan.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti appreciated Major General Faisal Naseer’s services and contributions to the counterterrorism sector and paid tribute to his efforts toward strengthening security and stability.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the Balochistan government and NACTA to closer coordination, improved intelligence sharing and a unified approach to combating terrorism and promoting sustainable peace in the province.
