News Desk: Two police officers providing security to an anti-polio vaccination team were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire in Qilli Jamalabad area of Nushki district, Balochistan, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said.
Bugti expressed deep sorrow over the deaths and directed the Balochistan Home Department to submit a report on the incident.
He condemned the attack on police personnel deployed to protect polio workers and paid tribute to the officers who lost their lives while performing their duties. The chief minister also extended condolences to the bereaved families.
